Odin is a 38 foot all steel narrowboat built by Eggbridge marina in 1982 and powered by a 1.5 BMC engine. It is up to 6 berth (1 make up double and 4 bunk beds or 1 make up double and 2 singles or alternatively you can have 2 make up doubles). I purchased Odin in 2004 and commissioned a full out of water survey (available to view). All recommendations from the survey were carried out including over plating of the hull (professionally done by Nantwich canal centre). Odin has a boat safety certificate valid until March 2013 and is licensed to the end of June. Moored on the beautiful Shropshire Union canal in Waverton, near Chester, Cheshire. Moorings may be possible.
Odin has been updated dramatically in recent years including 240 volt electric via landline or 1800watt sterling invertor with remote control. There is one Starter battery and four leisure batteries for lots of power. There is a microwave, TV, radio CD MP3 player. Arrow 3KW coal and log burning fire for heating. Hot water via a calorifier, shower, porta potti 365 toilet, fridge, freestanding vanette cooker. Recent cushions and curtains.
Odin has just been painted so looks like new, coach lines are being painted shortly, highly recommend a viewing.
I have documented and photographed all work done since 2004, this boat has been well maintained. Last dry docking was 2008. More pictures available, just mail me or give me a ring. |

Boat Safety certificate until May 2012. All receipts for purchases and work available. Open salon, multi fuel stove, Mikuni MX40 Egine preheater (central heating = 3 large radiators) functional kitchen (great for foodies) shower room, double bed. This is a much loved reliable live aboard which has brought much pleasure but alas its time to part! She needs a new friend/friends. |
