This is a very old trailer that I got with a dinghy I wanted to refurbish. I've since bought a combi trailer for the dinghy so this trailer is surplus to requirements.
When I got it it had an old 2 inch hitch head fitted, I put a brand new 50mm hitch head on and towed it about 200 miles home.
The trailer is solid and the suspension units are very smooth. However, the wheels are too old and are not the current standard size. So it will need replacement hubs and wheels. I don't know if the axles will take the current size of hubs - so it may need new suspension units fitting as well.
Therefore I'm selling it for £25 as the new hitch head cost me over £30. If no-one wants it I'll chop it up for scrap & keep the hitch for a spare.
The hitch head mounting holes are 75mm apart by the way.
Length from bow snubber to rear is 280cm. Width overall is 145cam |

Elise is a 42ft Trad style narrowboat built in 1997 by Venetian Marine using a Liverpool hull. She is fitted with a Lister 3cylinder engine that has clocked up 1009hrs. Purchased by the current owner in July 2008, Elise has since benefitted from some practical additions, front cratch & cover with fitted bow seating, 1000w inverter, battery management system, Webasto central heating (fitted July 2009 complete with a 2yr warranty), two stern mounted helmsman’s seats, plus some other small changes.
Forward saloon with bench seating offering two single berths or a converting double bed, central Villager multi-fuel stove in feature tiled surround. Open plan galley with eye level Vanette oven/grill, stainless steel sink/drainer, fridge, concealed dining table and plenty of cupboard space.
